The Cheka-OGPU is monitoring the tragedy in the Belgorod region. Two border guards were blown up by a Russian mine. The leadership of the military investigative department of the Investigative Committee is hiding this fact – trying to present their death as the result of an attack by the DRG of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

But that’s not all. It became known: those who died from Murmansk did not have the right to be in the combat zone – there was no appropriate training. Both border guards were not even in the reserve for missions to the combat zone. In fact, the leadership of the Border Directorate for the Western Arctic Region (PU for the ZAR), represented by its chief S.V. Maslov and personnel officer Kokarev A.E. committed a gross violation of service – they sent people to certain death.

Another thing is interesting. A week before the incident, the ZAR PU was checked by a personnel commission from the central office of the Border Service. No violations were found.
Apparently Kokarev’s long service in the personnel department of Moscow (from where he ended up in Murmansk) and gifts from the commission in the form of poached crab did their job.

And now, employees of the ZAR PU have arrived in Belgorod to remove all responsibility from their department and make the Belgorod Border Department the last. Murmansk is trying to set up Belgorod, which has no gifts for Moscow.

We hope that the personnel officers of the Border Service will conduct an additional check of the PU according to the ZAR and give a fair assessment of the management decisions of the local leadership. And we wish success to the head of the GVSU IC of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Korpusov. We understand his difficult situation and believe in a fair outcome of the case, in which there is no room for cover-up.
