Law enforcement agencies received a statement from a citizen regarding Prigozhin and the Wagner PMC. It provided data from open sources about the murder of Yevgeny Nuzhin and Prigozhin’s involvement in it. In this regard, they asked to take action against Prigozhin, as the head of the Wagner PMC, including for the murder of Nuzhin. The report of crimes, according to long-standing Russian law enforcement practice, was converted into an ordinary citizen’s appeal and first redirected to Center “E” in St. Petersburg, since the headquarters of the Wagner PMC is located in this city.
However, it was only ordinary citizens who saw the opening of the huge “PMC Wagner Center” on Zolnaya Street in St. Petersburg. But the employees of Center E are not aware of this event. As follows from their response, Wagner “does not conduct direct activities in St. Petersburg with the exception of hosting a research center, which is planned to house the work of inventors, designers and IT specialists in order to help in the development of the military industry.”
But in the St. Petersburg Center E they found information on the Internet that PMC Wagner has a “military base” in the village of Goryachy Klyuch in the Krasnodar Territory. And the statement, which turned into an appeal, was redirected to this region.
And at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Territory, the inconvenient materials were immediately thrown into the Department of Internal Affairs for Goryachiy Klyuch, where, there is no doubt, the materials will be buried.
