The Cheka-OGPU became aware of the background to the criminal case of pedophilia against the 85-year-old abbot of the TOC Anatoly Suvorov. As we have already reported, the priest’s former driver Anton K. uncovered the nest of debauchery. His story, like many other crippled children’s destinies of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky Monastery, began in an orphanage near Moscow. One of the mothers devoted to Suvorov took custody of him. The woman deceived the boy into the monastery, where he was abused by the abbot for many years. The abbot was everything to the inhabitants of the monastery, but recently the cult of the saint came into question. This happened by accident: Suvorov gave the task to his assistants Anton and Andrey to dismantle the attic. Among the chaos, the guys found a yellowed stack of old newspapers with a photo of a pedophile priest. From the text it followed that the man in the photograph was wanted as “an old man suspected of hypnosis.” Previously, Suvorov had already created a sect and robbed his admirers. After exchanging details of how they were molested and continued to be raped by the abbot, the guys told everything to the abbess of the monastery. But she reported this to Anatoly, who immediately came from Abkhazia and carried out reprisals. Andrei was beaten by some military men on Suvorov’s orders, and Anton was expelled from the monastery and accused of theft. He claims he was forced to admit guilt and the police initially laughed at his revelations. However, later they became interested.

According to a source of the Cheka-OGPU, the pedophile abbot of the TOC Anatoly Suvorov took money and apartments from parishioners. New victims were first greeted at the monastery by one of the mothers. In an idle conversation, she fished out all the relevant information and passed it on to the abbot. Next came Suvorov, who in his own way played out the details of the new man’s life, introducing himself as a prophet. This performance made an indelible impression on many. For example, one of the last parishioners gave the abbot 7 million rubles by selling an apartment in Moscow. At the monastery, the priest had his own realtor and lawyer for such purposes, who, by the way, is defending him now. Suvorov has several apartments in Abkhazia, one in St. Petersburg, a house and an apartment in Rostov and three apartments in Moscow. All of them are registered to the most devoted “mothers”. It was they who, when law enforcement officers came to the monastery, tried until the last to drive away the guests and save Suvorov.
