. The Cheka-OGPU found out that at the end of last year one of the buildings of the 2nd Western District Military Court (located next to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center) was converted into a secret detention center with several cells and interrogation rooms.
We are talking about a two-story ancient building at 4A Gospitalny Lane in the center of the capital. A military court has been sitting there for many years, so many visitors and employees are aware that there were no casemates there before.
However, already in October 2022, the chairman of the 2nd ZOVS V.A. concludes a contract with the general director of Asteria LLC, a certain Saidov A.A., that the building should urgently waterproof the basement. Photographs of the work site are also attached to the terms of reference.
And a few days later the same chairman Osin signs another agreement with PROF ENGINEERING LLC. This time we are talking about creating a ventilation system for the basement floor, working out a solution for forced exhaust and installing all this stuff. The terms of reference indicate the layout of the basement: in total there will be 9 rooms, they are united by a system of passages and corridors, and numbers 2-6 are cells for detainees.
Separately, it is worth noting the urgency with which the work must be carried out – “no later than 12/31/2022”.
