On April 6, 2023, the ex-senator’s new formal refuge became an apartment in Khlebny Lane, which previously belonged to another partner of Roman Abramovich, Andrei Gorodilov. And already on April 26, Efim Malkin’s lawsuit demanding that his daughter be handed over to him and allowed to leave for France without the mother’s permission was registered by the Presnensky District Court of Moscow. Moreover, the case fell into the hands of not just anyone, but Natalya Karzhavina, who had already stained her mantle with a decision in favor of the son of ex-Prosecutor General Artem Chaika, taking her daughter from her mother with the wording “for immediate execution.”
It is known about judge Natalya Karzhavina that she did not get into the justice system after graduating from college. Previously, she worked in the legal departments of construction companies that carried out contracts for the capital’s authorities. It was there that she met Abramovich’s fellow lawyer Efim Malkin and the structures of businessman Artem Chaika. Having patronage, Natalya Karzhavina got a job in the judicial department and in 2010, by order of Vladimir Putin, she was appointed a judge. It is quite possible that the hour of reckoning has come, when the servant of Themis cannot refuse the resource claimants.
Natalya Karzhavina’s husband Peter also works as a lawyer in a private company. The couple abuses their judicial status even in small ways: on the website of the Presnensky Court there are three administrative cases (fines of 5 thousand for parking in the wrong place). In each of them, Themis sided with the judge’s husband. Interestingly, only Natalya Karzhavina, alone and without unnecessary noise, does not disdain to take on such reprehensible cases, where the claims are directed against the interests of young children, or where we are talking about collective responsibility, where the chairman of the court, the Moscow City Court and the supervising services are in conjunction?
