The Cheka-OGPU details of the biggest scandal of recent times have become known…

The Cheka-OGPU became aware of the details of the biggest recent scandal in the Investigative Committee and the FSB of the Russian Federation – the escape from custody of lawyer Vadim Lyalin. So far, all those involved have escaped with punishment, but there may be more serious punishments.

Vadim Lyalin, despite his ostentation and passion for external effects, really had (and partially has) good connections. He was always close to the Directorate M of the FSB of the Russian Federation and the FSB Directorate for Moscow and Moscow Region. He is close friends with the former deputy director of the Russian Guard, Roman Gavrilov. However, as Lyalin himself said, his main resource is the brother of the first deputy director of the FSB of the Russian Federation, Sergei Korolev, who lives in St. Petersburg. In this regard, Lyalin considered himself an untouchable figure, and a serious VIP clientele came to him.

One of these clients was the co-founder of Merlion, Vladislav Mangutov, who was taken into custody during the “war” for the company with the participation of many security officials. Father and son Vitaly and Kirill Kachur took part in the attack on Merlion, and Lyalin was at one time the former’s lawyer. However, Lyalin was brought to Mangutov by the businessman’s wife, Yulia Chechet, who was introduced to Lyalin by their mutual friend, one of the prominent Russian bikers. Lyalin took several million euros for the work, promising to ensure Mangutov’s release. But then he said that in order to be released, it is necessary to conclude a deal with the investigation and testify against Oleg Karchev, the main person in Merlion.

Mangutov was close to a deal, but Karchev managed to influence him and told him to “sit up straight,” since “the issue is being resolved through Zolotov.” In his recent appeal, published in the telegram channel of Ksenia Sobchak, Kirill Kachur assured that Viktor Zolotov is a cover and an unofficial co-owner of Merlion.

Indeed, the criminal case turned 180 degrees, the co-owners of Merlion were released, and the attack turned on Kirill Kachur and people associated with him.

According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, Lyalin had a serious conversation and he agreed to return the millions of euros he received. And he did this under guarantees that he would not be imprisoned. However, when power cutting takes place, no guarantees apply. Lyalin was debarred and then arrested on charges of fraud in connection with the Mangutov story. Chechet was officially named as the victim.
Lyalin entered into pre-trial proceedings and, through his friends from Directorate M, agreed with the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee on preferences for necessary and interesting testimony. After investigative actions with investigator Romanenko, he was allowed to go home, see his family, etc. And one day, in early September, he did not leave the house where his family lived. How he left is a mystery to many. Lyalin was caught only 2 days later. Lyalina was slapped with an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for escape, and investigator Romanenko was removed from the case. Deputy Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Pavel Goryachev was given a disciplinary officer, and his receipt of the rank of general is still up in the air.
