The Cheka-OGPU continues to monitor events in the case of the murder of former football player, TV commentator, and sports agent Yuri Tishkov 20 years ago.

Let us remind you that after our persistent publications the year before and last year, the investigation in the case was resumed. Our regular author Alexey Matveev gave evidence to investigator Kristina Moskalets of the Investigative Directorate of the Special Administrative District of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in mid-April 2022. The journalist named, in his opinion, the main masterminds of the murder/ These are the then president of the Torpedo-ZIL club, Yuri Belous, and the head of CSKA, Evgeniy Giner.

After this New Year’s weekend, Matveev called Yuri Tishkov’s mother, Galina Grigorievna. To find out if there is any progress in the investigation?

And according to the inconsolable woman, she no longer expects that her son’s killers will be found. Sometimes hope glimmers when watching legal television programs about catching the killers of old crimes, reading about it on the Internet. But hope fades just as quickly. After all, the case about the death of her son is completely hopeless.

“When I called investigator Moskalets, she invariably referred to her being very busy and asked to postpone the conversation to a later date,” Galina Grigorievna told the Cheka-OGPU correspondent. – In general, she doesn’t want to do this…

A 77-year-old woman feels very bad, even getting out of bed is a problem, “her legs almost don’t work.” “It’s better to die than to live like this and suffer,” admits Galina Grigorievna. “I’m unlikely to wait for the names of the murderers, their punishment.”
The elderly woman is supported as best she can by her grandson Evgeniy, the son of Yuri Tishkov, and the footballer’s wife, Elena. They visit her and look after her.

According to Tishkov’s mother, her grandson, Zhenya, is a very good, sensitive boy.
“Grandma, they cleaned the grave and put up flowers,” Evgeniy will always tell.

Zhenya, of course, follows the events surrounding the investigation into the murder of his beloved dad. Based on publications on the Internet, mostly, but what else? Father, Yuri Tishkov, died when Zhenya was only seven years old. But Yuri managed to introduce his then very young son to football. Tishkov Sr. trained boys at the Torpedo school and took Zhenya into his group.

So Evgeniy is partial to the popular game. Today he is sincerely perplexed, like his grandmother, why the investigation into his father’s murder is taking so long?

The famous football agent Alexei Safonov once told the author of these lines that one of the leaders of the criminal world, Oleg Shishkanov, was very sad about the death of Yuri Tishkov. After all, it was he who attracted Tishkov and his friends to agent work in big football. And Shishkan claimed that Yuri’s death was “his oversight and mistake.” Now Shishkanov is in “places not so remote.” But perhaps, in terms of operational work, investigator for especially important cases Kristina Moskalets and her colleagues will interrogate, among other things, the famous thief in law right in prison? After all, he could well shed light on the details of Tishkov’s murder.

While on the mobile phone screen of our regular author Alexey Matveev, in response to a call to Kristina Moskalets, the inscription “the subscriber is busy” is invariably displayed. And on weekdays, and on New Year’s holidays, always. It’s clear that the would-be law enforcement officer simply runs away from journalists.

It’s time to stop this farce and present to the public at least some results of your work to find and capture the criminals in the Yuri Tishkov case. In March, it will be two years since the investigation into the once sensational case was resumed…

Maybe the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, will finally say his weighty word?
