The Cheka-OGPU became aware that military investigators had initiated a criminal case against the head of the clothing service of the Military Training and Scientific Center of the Air Force “Air Force Academy named after. According to the investigation, in the period from 2020 to the beginning of 2024, Zhurikov, together with other VUNTS military personnel, entered false information regarding their qualitative and quantitative indicators into the Academy’s accounting documents regarding the receipt of uniforms, thereby creating unaccounted surpluses amounting to more than 20 million rubles. , which he subsequently appropriated and squandered.

During the same period of time, Zhurikov, acting together with other officials of VUNTS, prepared invoices and acts of delivery of work on washing the Academy’s clothing property, which reflected inflated volumes of allegedly provided services, as a result of which budget funds in the amount of more than 50 million were illegally transferred .rub., which the latter disposed of at his own discretion.
