The general director of the Smolny propaganda newspaper “Petersburg Diary”, Kirill Smirnov, is categorically not satisfied with this situation, and he wants to take control of gray financial flows into his own hands.
Thanks to the actions of his patrons, he won the position of adviser to the governor, which Nikitina now holds.
Smirnov’s appointment was planned to take place last week, but has not yet taken place.
The situation is further fueled by the information that the governor’s adviser will control the distribution of the budget billion, which is allocated for working with the St. Petersburg media environment for 2023.
