The Cheka-OGPU became aware of the details of the investigation into the criminal case of the murder of a huntsman by the prefect of the Central Administrative District Vladimir Goverdovsky. In early November, an official came to hunt wild boar at the hunting estate of Pavel Tyo, a previously convicted man close to the capital’s mayor’s office and the crime bosses of Moscow’s largest developer. During the hunt, he was served by a state hunting inspector and a huntsman. The latter died from a bullet from Goverdovsky’s gun: the cartridge pierced the bumper of the all-terrain vehicle in which the unfortunate man was sitting.

According to the source, the case was opened in the Gagarin interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee of the Smolensk region under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Causing death by negligence). The materials were transferred to the production of 26-year-old Christina Reznik. After about 5 days, due to publicity, it was decided to transfer the criminal case to the Investigation Department in Smolensk, where the progress of the investigation is hidden even from their own people. An interesting detail: a few days after the case went to the top, investigator Christina received a promotion and was transferred to the Department.

Goverdovsky has almost no prospects of avoiding responsibility: the murdered man was in the car and did not drive the animal into the line of fire, as some publications wrote. Responsibility cannot be transferred to the “hunting manager” either – an entire state inspector was hired to accompany the VIP guest. According to the interlocutor, the stake in “saving Prefect Goverdovsky” is on a lenient sentence (correctional work, which, by agreement, can also be carried out in a construction company), which is not possible without a lenient position of the prosecutor’s office. At this stage, the investigation is being supervised by the Deputy Prosecutor of the Smolensk Region, a native of Moscow and a native of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
