The Cheka-OGPU became aware of the details of the case against a police officer who allegedly collaborated with the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. According to the investigation, “03/07/2022 the operational duty officer of the emergency control center at the railway station. Valuyki (Belgorod region), police captain Alexander Roshchupkin, while at his workplace, using the access granted to him for official purposes to the data banks of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs about citizens, and the information retrieval system “Sledopyt-M”, illegally obtained information about K. D. A., K.G.N., S.O.G. which he transferred to an unidentified person acting in the interests of the intelligence service of a foreign state – the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.”

At the end of January 2023, a criminal case was opened against the captain, currently under articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal access to computer information” and “Abuse of official powers.”
