This is a single ATM located in the building of a chain store (Pyaterochka, Verny, Dixie), usually in the vestibule. Using gas or explosives, the criminals blew up the device and took away the cash. They are credited with:
– in November 2019 in Mytishchi city. in the vestibule of the Pyaterochka store, an ATM was pumped with gas and exploded. 2.8 million rubles were stolen;
— in May 2020, in Khimki, an unknown device was installed on an ATM inside a store. After the explosion, the thieves took more than 1 million rubles;
— in August, history repeated itself near Serpukhov, as a result of a bomb being “planted” in a bill acceptor, the thieves were able to reach and take away 5 cassettes with cash;
— the 2020 season was closed by demolition workers near Solnechnogorsk in September, once again making off with cash;
— in July 2021, the gang “worked out” an ATM near Chekhov. The purchase amounted to 3 million rubles;
— in October the same thing happened under
Sergiev-Posad. Production amounted to 3.8 million.
According to the interlocutor, at first the core of the group was caught, but the implementation was kept strictly secret. Four natives of Moldova were captured by the operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB with the support of special forces on the 3rd near Solnechnogorsk. And the other day the fifth demolition bomber was caught near Rostov. Three of them are relatives and had cover – most of the attackers were employed in normal jobs and led ordinary lives.
