The Cheka-OGPU became aware of how swindlers began to profit from Russians who wanted to leave the country due to the possibility of a nuclear strike. Recently, an expert from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, associate professor at GITIS and art critic Elena Sadykova contacted the State Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow. She said that her 84-year-old mother had gained the trust of certain dubious individuals who presented themselves as employees of a structure under the UN Refugee Agency. At first they intimidated the woman with stories about it. That her apartment on Novy Arbat would be at the epicenter of a nuclear explosion in the event of a strike. And then they reassured me with the story that the woman was lucky – she was included in the program for the evacuation of Russians to Europe to escape nuclear attacks. True, for this it is necessary to sell an apartment in Moscow (with the participation of UN representatives, of course), and use the proceeds to purchase an apartment in Italy. According to the applicant, her mother began to be courted by representatives of an allegedly Swiss company Anticrises Expert Line accredited by the UN Refugee Agency since the summer of this year. They promised the woman to take her to Italy for permanent residence in exchange for an apartment on Novy Arbat. At the end of October, Sadykova’s mother was hospitalized, and on November 8 she was discharged and then disappeared.
