On June 26, 2022, against the investigator of the Investigative Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnogorsk city district, captain of justice Viktor Fokin, based on FSB materials, a criminal case was opened in the local department of the Investigative Committee under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. A year earlier, he took 500 thousand rubles from a victim in a car theft case for establishing the location of her car. In September this month, the court sentenced him to two years of suspended imprisonment.
Even before the verdict in the first case, in August, another criminal case was opened against Viktor Fokin for fraud based on materials from the Internal Security Service for the Moscow Region. According to investigators, he, as an investigator, took 230 thousand rubles from the victim for a promise to receive a discount when buying an apartment in Krasnogorsk. The investigation is still ongoing.

A woman wrote a statement against the investigator, who in 2020 allegedly gave him 2 million rubles for assisting in the release from criminal liability of Vadim Gaburyak, a former employee and champion of world competitions among law enforcement agencies from the FSO, who was convicted three days earlier (in the video). The latter received a sentence for stealing a backpack with 200 thousand dollars from Ksenia Borodina’s boyfriend, restaurateur and blogger Eric Avagyan.
According to the Cheka-OGPU, the investigator’s intense criminal biography caused a great stir within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Now that it has become clear that the swindler in uniform was doing things under the noses of management and colleagues, an investigation into the fact of untimely transfer of information to the Rapid Response Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already been scheduled against the employees. The head of the CSS of the Moscow Region police headquarters, Colonel Ramil Gafurov, was personally appointed as the executor.
