The Cheka-OGPU became aware of a large political battle that is being prepared in Yekaterinburg, where a city duma is being elected this year. The capital of the Urals has been known since the 90s as a place where the gangster lobby decided, if not everything, then a lot. And if the 2000s and 1900s passed without the participation of representatives of the Uralmash OPS in city politics, now the younger generation of heirs to the community is actively striving for power. And what is surprising – with the support of the mayor of Yekaterinburg Alexei Orlov.

For example, the mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, is surrounded by two deputies of the local city Duma – Alexander Kolesnikov and Alexey Meshcheryakov. Missing from the photo is one more Alexey – Vikharev, whose group they belong to. Vikharev is the son of one of the most famous crime bosses in the city, member of the Uralmash criminal gang Andrei Vikharev.

Kolesnikov and Meshcheryakov are serious gentlemen: the first became famous for his aggression towards journalists, fights and insults; the second one managed to increase his income 170 times during four years of work as a deputy. Five years ago, Meshcheryakov and Kolesnikov were elected to the city duma from SR; in the same year, Orlov, as the leader of the city cell of ER, dragged them into his party under guarantees of victory.

Once a political strategist, and now the deputy head of Yekaterinburg, Sergei Plakhotin does not hesitate to predict Orlov to take the place of governor of the Sverdlovsk region. At various meetings, he openly declares that candidates for deputies should stick exclusively to Orlov, since, according to Plakhotin and Orlov, there should be no representatives of the “current governor’s team” in the new city duma.

Apparently, the political strengthening of the Uralmash OPS with the support of Alexey Orlov will inevitably take place. When the city mayor himself is openly working for you as an agitator, you don’t have to worry about the nuances of the election campaign.
