The Cheka-OGPU became aware of a gigantic scandal in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, which reached the federal level. Two generals were fired, and the career of one is in question after the personal intervention of SVR director Sergei Naryshkin. The scandal occurred because of Naryshkin’s friend, billionaire God Nisanov.

As the source said, we are talking about the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Southern Administrative District Dmitry Ryabov, the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Closed Administrative District Boris Sheinkin and the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow Igor Zinoviev. Ryabov and Sheinkin have already been dismissed, and a desperate struggle is underway for Zinoviev. The resignations were especially surprising because Sheinkin is a close friend of the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow Oleg Baranov (and he, in turn, is the closest friend of Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev) and was only appointed to his post a couple of months ago. But Ryabov and Zinoviev had been friends with each other for a long time and were about to get promoted. Zinoviev was considered for the place of the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region (Viktor Paukov could leave him), and Ryabov – for the place of the chief of police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region.

The scandal itself is carefully hidden; not much is known about it. God Nisanov is an untouchable figure. However, the three generals organized a series of operational activities, and then investigations, against people very close to Nisanov.
