The prosecutor’s revenge began with a regular SMS, which was sent to Omsk Arbitration Court judge Elena Gladysheva back in 2018. The woman dictated the data from the back of her card to the “security officer” and lost 243 thousand rubles – about the amount judges spend on shopping on a weekend. Naturally, Gladysheva was upset and complained to her father about the scammer. The swindlers did not yet know that they had scammed the daughter of the gray cardinal GP, the right hand of the all-powerful at that time Yuri Chaika, out of money. Grin gives the command to transfer the case to the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and General Alexander Krakovsky, who was subsequently arrested for bribes from the developer Albert Khudoyan, is entrusted with catching the “gang”. Krakovsky gathers a whole group of crazy detectives who immediately give “results” – according to the statement of a certain secret witness, they begin to detain the “swindlers” one after another.
The Cheka-OGPU managed to find out that under the data of the secret witness Alekseev A.A. a well-known drug addict and psychopath is hiding, who tried to kill his parents several times (he poured gasoline on his mother and tried to set him on fire, cut his father with a knife), convicted of buying ecstasy P.V. Svetlichny. We quote the materials of his characteristics from the case:
“Paronoid schizophrenia, continuously flowing hallucinatory syndrome, delirium… Persons suffering from harmful drug addiction. He is passionate about Satanism and the occult sciences.”
It turned out that all the detainees had only a casual connection with the “secret witness” – he owed someone, someone saw him once in a hotel in the Samara region, where he had recently lived. As a result, everyone who “stood nearby” was closed based on Svetlichny-Alekseev’s denunciations, and as a bonus, a pre-trial agreement was drawn up with him – freedom in exchange for the surrender of “gang members.” They were accused of creating a criminal group, which included Veremeenko, Perfilyeva, Koninyan, Yatsiv, Ibiev, Dumaev and Zlobnova. Only the pregnant wife of the “leader” managed to leave the country and not fall under Grin’s pressure – she is wanted and with a small child in her arms cannot return home.
Meanwhile, the investigation has been ongoing for the fifth year. Extraordinary budgets have been spent on the investigative team, but the case is still not going smoothly. Several volumes have already disappeared from the criminal investigation, the courts do not accept examinations, and the delusional testimony of a “secret witness” with a confirmed diagnosis of schizophrenia is reluctantly listened to. The most interesting thing is that no one can explain how the phone from which prosecutor Grin’s daughter was scammed continued to work after the “gang” was detained. The calls and subsequent payments took place on March 22, 27, and 30, 2019; the defendants at that time were already in jail and could not make calls.
