The Cheka-OGPU became aware of a criminal case against the management of a large IT company Asteros, which received large government funds for ensuring the security of the Crimean Bridge. However, as a result, a powerful explosion occurred on the bridge. “Asteros,” as our channel reported, was connected with a high-ranking employee of the T Directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Zakhryapin. He was seconded to the post of Deputy Minister of Transport and lost his position after the explosion on the bridge.

Asteros provided security in most projects. In particular, he took part in relevant work in the space industry, in Luzhniki (World Cup) and Sochi (Olympics), work with Gazprom and SIBUR and many others. Asteros received a lot of money for contracts on the Crimean Bridge.

According to investigators, the company signed fictitious contract agreements with controlled companies: ARCH-Build LLC, M-STROY LLC, Pro Media Advertising Agency LLC, SPETSGEOSTROY LLC, SK IMPULS LLC. Thus, Asteros JSC avoided paying taxes in the period from 2015 to 2018 in the amount of more than 45 million rubles. In addition to the main shareholder Yuri Byakov, who fled the Russian Federation when the company failed to fulfill billions of dollars in obligations to creditors, the Investigative Committee recently brought to justice two directors of the company, Nikolai Latyshev and Alexander Saenko.
