The Cheka of the OGPU continues to understand the reasons for the initiation of new custom-made criminal cases by JSC UEC with the aim of arresting the leaders of the NPP Temp. For many years, UEC management laundered hundreds of millions of rubles of state defense orders through the joint venture Topaz JSC, Chisinau, in which UEC owned 97.72% of the shares. The funds were transferred for allegedly carrying out development work, as well as for the supply of counterfeit military equipment products, which were produced according to documentation stolen, including from NPP Temp. Topaz, in collusion with UEC, shipped counterfeit products in disassembled form, indicating codes for civilian products in customs declarations. This happened because the management of UEC failed to agree on the “schemes” with the management of NPP Temp.
At the same time, UEC is a shareholder of NPP Temp and is informed that NPP Temp develops and produces products certified by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation according to the nomenclature and quality of which Topaz is not able to develop and even manufacture similar to the technical documentation of NPP Temp.
The leaders of NPP Temp, having learned about the documentation stolen from the developer and illegally exported from Russia, took measures. The management of NPP Temp is trying to establish on whose instructions and how the technical documentation of the UEC was transferred to Topaz and whether Topaz transferred this documentation to third parties, which could expose a channel of technical espionage and leaking of military secrets. This was one of the reasons for the criminal prosecution of the leaders of NPP Temp.
The actions of the UEC to steal funds from the defense complex of the Russian Federation, as well as to destroy its scientific and technical potential, and supply counterfeit products of unknown quality are a criminal act and will certainly receive due assessment. NPP “Temp” 07/31/2023 appealed personally to the Prosecutor General of Russia I.V. Krasnov with a statement on this issue.
