The Central District Court of Tula decided on the absentee arrest of the former acting Head of the city administration Alexander Yadykin.
Yadykin has been accused in absentia in the case of fraud with land plots (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for the construction of the Cosmos-Dom residential complex in the center of Tula. The prominent “United”, the repeated deputy of the local city Duma, the director of a number of commercial and municipal enterprises and the first deputy manager of Tula Alexander Yadykin through his partner Grigory Nedydikhin is closely connected with the ex-head of the administration Evgeny Avilov. The latter is currently a defendant in another criminal case related to the excess of official powers with the disposal of municipal land plots.
The most loud joint scam of Yadykin, Nedikikhin and Avilov was the raider seizure of the Altair Television Company, which provided cable television and the Internet services. The founder of the company Alexander Vorobyov on April 3, 2003 disappeared without a trace, being stolen by unknown in the form of law enforcement officials.
In December 2005, the acting The chairman of the Tula City Duma, Yevgeny Avilov, sent the head of the administration of the Soviet district of Tula about the appointment of Alexander Yadykin as a trusting property manager of the missing Vorobyov.
As a result, the group of Yadykin-Nuzhdikhina gained full control over the Altair shopping mall and other assets of Vorobyov that disappeared. Subsequently, this property was brought into the company controlled by partners. Vorobyov’s legitimate heirs remained only shell companies, moreover, burdened with extremely unprofitable contracts with the companies of Yadykin-Nuzhdikhin.
In August 2011, MTS OJSC acquired 100% of the authorized capital in four companies operating in Tula under the brand of the Altair shopping mall. The amount of the transaction amounted to 680 million rubles ($ 23.2 million).
And all this despite the fact that the materials of the criminal case, initiated by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Tula region, contained quite direct and indirect evidence indicating people interested in the disappearance of Alexander Vorobyov. The investigation of the case under far -fetched pretexts was curtailed.
