The case of the Tsapkov gang, which thundered throughout the country, almost did not affect one of its key participants – Fyodor Streltsov, nicknamed Fedya Obnal. The Rostov resident, who kept the assets and managed the money of the thugs, lived quietly in Russia until 2018, then fled to Ukraine.

In Streltsov’s former homeland, 10 criminal cases with damages of more than 1 billion rubles and real friends in uniform await. Among them is Deputy Prosecutor General for the Southern Federal District Andrei Kikot, whose simple manipulations with the transfer of criminal cases from one district to another made Fedya Obnal a victim. Allegedly, the entrepreneurs who, according to criminal cases, were defrauded by Streltsov, stole his harvest.

Probably, Kikot appeared in this story not by chance and could not have single-handedly molded a real martyr out of a gang member. If it weren’t for the help of investigators from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the North Caucasus Federal District, who opened cases against the entrepreneurs who suffered from Tsapkov. In particular, the system-forming agricultural concern “Pokrovsky”, which provides jobs to tens of thousands of people. Is it possible to pull off such a thing without a solid roof in Moscow? Hardly.
