On the afternoon of April 12, 2021, the accused, while in the premises of a fitness club in a residential complex on Aviatsionnaya Street in Moscow, fired five shots from a firearm at Ali Heydarov. The victim died at the scene.
As the Cheka-OGPU recounted, at one point there was a small talk going around the pre-trial detention center, the meaning of which boiled down to the fact that Sultanov needed to be dealt with as the killer of a thief in law. For safety reasons, he was transferred to “Matrosskaya Tishina”; they even kept him alone in a cell. However, it was clear that it would not be possible to protect Sultanov forever. But he had an intercessor. Detectives found that the pre-trial detention center was repeatedly called by thief in law Namik Salifov (brother of the “criminal general” Guli), who persistently asked influential inmates not to do anything against Sultanov. The reason for such intercession of Namik is quite understandable. Albert the Red was killed as revenge for organizing the elimination of Guli in Istanbul. Everyone involved in the attack on Guli is either already in heaven or hiding, awaiting an assassination attempt. And the list of “conspirators” is known.
These are “thieves in law” Heydar Aliyev, Rafik Eyvazov (Rafik Massalinsky) and “authoritative” businessman Zaur Akhmedov. They all had reasons to hate Guli and each made efforts to ensure that he disappeared. Aliyev and Salifov were old enemies. Guli’s people cut off Rafik’s ear. Akhmedov’s brother, thief in law Rovshan Dzhaniev, was killed. It is believed that this happened at the behest of Lotto Guli. Those around Guli believe that Nazir Aliyev, who was close to Salifov, was also involved in the attack.
As a result, in April 2021, Albert Ryzhiy was killed in Moscow. In December 2021, Nazir Aliyev was shot dead in Odessa. In March 2022, an attempt was made on the life of Rafik Eyvazov in Turkey. He was wounded four times but survived. Living in Russia, Zaur Akhmedov was always surrounded by a huge number of bodyguards and tried not to leave the guarded cottage. According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, in the summer of 2022, Akhmedov left Russia altogether and went to Azerbaijan, where the family has many influential representatives, including in the security forces. Those around Akhmedov tell everyone that the move is due to the fact that Russia banned Zaur from entering the country. Sources said that Akhmedov simply believed that in Azerbaijan he had a better chance of avoiding an assassination attempt.
