The Russian government extended for 2025 the rules of the temporary transfer of employees from enterprises that suspended their activities to other organizations.
These measures introduced in 2024 continue to act to protect the labor rights of citizens and ensure their employment, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
The corresponding resolution, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was published on the official website of the government. The document emphasizes that the decision was aimed at supporting employees and employers in regions with an average level of response, as well as evacuated employees. This regime is introduced in the regions bordering Ukraine.
For a temporary transfer, an employee must provide written consent and get a referral from the employment center.
At a new place of work with citizens, a fixed -term employment contract with the possibility of extension will be concluded, while the main employment contract will be suspended, but its term will not be considered interrupted.
Earlier, in October 2024, the government simplified employment procedures for residents of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, facilitating the process of searching for citizens in a difficult situation.
