The minimum wage is calculated according to the new rules.
The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, said that the subsistence minimum next year is calculated on the basis of the median income of Russians, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
Mishustin recalled that earlier the indicator was determined by the law on the federal budget, and now it will be determined according to the median income.
Next year, the cost of living of at least per capita will be 17733 rubles (+2280 rubles by 2024), for the working -age population – 19329 rubles (+2485 rubles), for pensioners – 15,250 rubles (+1960 rubles), for children – 1720s (+2212 rubles).
At the same time, the regions will set their values, to which many types of benefits and benefits are attached, Mishustin said.
For example, these are payments to needing families with children and pregnant women or pensioners, whose income does not reach the regional subsistence level.
