The Cheka-OGPU wrote about a criminal case on training citizens of pre-retirement age, about which even Russia-1 filmed a custom story? The Provisional Government also described this case, reporting another manual use of the law.
Let us remind you: the head of the State Department. Labor and Employment Service, its deputy. and the director of the State Autonomous Institution “RUTS” are accused of stealing a budget subsidy for the education of citizens. There was allegedly no training, and the teachers allegedly returned the money to management.
Three were detained in January of this year, and the only one of them, the former head of the Department, still remains in custody. Now interlocutors report that they were able to quickly “shove” the case into court and began to consider it.
True, the prosecutor with two large stars on his shoulder, decorously showing off on the custom-made issue of Russia-1, at a crucial moment walked out of the trial and the witnesses began to be interrogated without him. Here is an “important case” for you – something like this may indicate that the accusers themselves do not have much faith in this case. Persons close to the story, by the way, say that it is clear that law enforcement officers did not understand the details and dragged everyone under the same brush. Now, when it comes to the witnesses, the details that are revealed are not as colorful as the investigator wrote.
The witnesses in court were no longer so sure of what they had once boldly told, not without the help of the investigation. From what the Cheka-OGPU sources heard – specifically about the only head of the Directorate who was in custody – they didn’t really want to make anything up. It’s different about the rest, but doubts are definitely great.
In these cases, the prosecutor and, if desired, the court itself are very helpful in remembering everything that the witnesses said during the investigation (not to be confused with what actually happened). In general, objectivity is at rest.
Whether any of the witnesses will be able to insist on the real story or, under the influence of harsh views, they will continue to make up stories in the hope that the truth will not emerge – we will watch. The last high-profile verdicts based on false testimony of witnesses in court were a long time ago, but, as they say, everything is very possible.

In the summer, Bastrykin already threatened Lukichev with resignation, and in December he once again drew attention…
