The “bearish” case of the Reznikov brothers, to be honest, is interesting primarily because Grigory Reznikov has been a deputy of the Irkutsk City Duma since 2014.
Dossier of Grigory Reznikov we discussed in detail several years ago (http://irkdzen.com/?p=10). Grigory and his brother Mikhail were gang members in their youth in their native Vladivostok. They specialized in the sale of hard drugs, and started this business while still in school.
As a result, Grigory Reznikov received a criminal record for selling narcotic drugs on a large scale (part 1, part 3 p “c” of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Only thanks to the acquaintance of his father, a well-known carrier of Japanese cars, with local crime bosses, and for a very large bribe, was it possible to transfer the sentence to probation.
To avoid repeated problems, Grigory and Mikhail were sent to distant Irkutsk.
In 2000, Grigory Reznikov, a student at the Polytechnic Institute, received a criminal record for violating traffic rules that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The judge was bribed, Reznikov received a suspended sentence.
Thus, the main “backbone” of the Irkutsk City Duma are people who are in one way or another connected with the criminal world. “Black moneylender” Matviychuk, owner of underground casinos Yudin, the main intermediary of the Duma with the criminal world Stekachev, the “center” of the transport criminal group Kolmakov, and killer Panko. The whole color of Irkutsk.
All other “Duma members” are either businessmen who resolve their financial issues through deputies, or proteges of financial and industrial groups. The only real deputies “from the people” are Klevtsova, Korochkina, Gushchin and Zolotukhin.
