The Moscow Basmanny Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention of the general director and head physician “Medicine 24/7” Oleg Serebryansky, put on the international wanted list. He is accused of providing low -quality services that entailed the death of the patient. In the clinic, a medical care was provided to an elderly woman with myocardial infarction, but she died due to the lack of the necessary equipment.
“The investigator’s request was satisfied to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the accused of committing a crime under paragraph“ a ”of part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Serebryansky put on the international wanted list. The named preventive measure was chosen two months from the moment of its detention in the territory of the Russian Federation or from the moment of its extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation, ”said the Telegram channel of the capital’s courts of general jurisdiction.
Earlier, investigators found out that in the clinic they accept patients not only with a heart attack for treatment, but also with acute stroke, without a license for the same. At the same time, the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) already lay citizens’ appeals about the death of their relatives due to the provision of unskilled assistance in LLC, from which millionth amounts also demanded to pay for “treatment”. The Investigative Committee opened the case, and Roszdravnadzor suspended the clinic for 90 days through arbitration. After that, Oleg Serebryansky left Russia.
