Allegedly, sales companies of regional oil companies, including LLC SO Tvernefteprodukt, LLC Tatneft-AZS-Zapad, TD Neftemagistral, have not shipped fuel to gas stations using TS cards for 4 years.
More recently, the Kurmaevs resorted to another trick – they organized a large number of third parties intending to repay the claims of creditors. In the period from March 10 to March 25, 2022, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Moscow received almost two dozen applications from this crowd of legal entities and individuals, which turned out to be insolvent: one-day companies without employees, without the movement of money on accounts, without fixed assets with clearly nominee directors, bankrupt individuals. And the most interesting thing is that all these individuals were associated with the company “Kurmaev and Partners” in many of their previous cases in the courts.
Most recently, the Kurmaev and Partners databases leaked online, thanks to an anonymous group of hackers close to Anonymous, who attacked a law firm close to a number of state-owned companies. This news appeared just an hour after the team leaked hundreds of GB from the servers of one of the largest Russian media holdings. Publication of “closed” legal information in the public domain could have a very painful impact on both Kurmaev’s major clients and representatives of Themis, who may have been in closer contact with lawyers than necessary. It is possible that these data will shed light on the true goals of Rustam Kurmaev, his relatives and partners both in the Terminal Service case and in a number of lawsuits previously initiated by them, the result which resulted in large losses for enterprises that are significant for Russia.
