The subject of the meeting held on November 2 was the topic of purchasing equipment for medical institutions of the republic. Let us recall that in July, the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko visited Dagestan, pointing out the problem with the lack of equipment at first aid stations in municipalities, after which one of the relevant vice-premiers of the local government was instructed to purchase the necessary equipment.
Sergei Melikov’s increased interest in purchasing equipment for certain medical centers is due to the fact that Deputy Prime Minister Murad Kaziev was instructed to work with the “right” contractor. But, in his oral report, the Deputy Prime Minister stated in front of everyone that “the curator advised him not to do this.”
“Are you afraid of this curator? If necessary, I will build this curator and his director at the counter!” Sergei Melikov became indignant. Surprisingly, the Governor General does not know that all curators can have only one director in the country, whose office is clearly far from Dagestan.
Observers of the Cheka-OGPU note that the head of Dagestan can make such loud statements in public largely due to rumors spread by the Dagestan Secretary of State and oil tycoon Magomed-Sultan Magomedov. In his circle, he flaunts the fact that he allegedly planned a grandiose check in the main law enforcement agency of the republic.
