Viewer of the imposed (or imposed?) series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” finally reached the 8th circle of “hell”, that is, it received the promised re-shot 8th episode. The “boys” kept their word: they made it to the stated December 21st.
The overall impression of watching the leaked demo version vs the re-shot version is very different politically. Quite large pieces were re-shot and the “hand of the ruler” is felt in each one. From the main footage: Vova-Adidas has been put on the wanted list, and his father’s home is being searched. Accordingly, no one comes to his anniversary (unlike the major feast in the demo): like public censure for the fact that his son is a murderer. The dialogue between father and son does not bring relief to anyone, and catharsis does not occur either… despite the capabilities of essentially good actors – Sergei Burunov (father) and Ivan Yankovsky (Adidas). Everything was sacrificed to a politically correct outcome (or simply the attempts at loftiness did not work out for the same reason). Vova is handed over to the cops, and his punishment comes in the person of his main comrade, the major, who, after a short chase, shoots and kills him (while in the original version, Vova-Adidas is cut by “his own” bandit with a knife). Significant shift in emphasis, isn’t it?
The same mill is also grist with a new scene of the surrender of his blood enemy to Marat by the Komsomol leader. Note: also not “our own” who rejected the guy, essentially abandoning him, but a government official. To the delight of the viewer, there is justice, which was so lacking in the storyline about violence, and between the lines there are still the same “edits.”
The scene of Andrei Palto’s meeting with his mother and Yulia was replayed – in the remade episode it was played not at home, but in the clinic. Here, too, there seems to be no double bottom: in the demo version, a mentally ill patient was taken by a PDN employee on a shift when her friend was working at the hospital. That is, she clearly exceeded her authority. But in the new movie, the honor of the uniform is saved – all meetings are strictly within the walls of the chambers.
In short, the glory of the dear party will not forget you and me! She will take us all on bail: she has long arms.
