Almost a month after the declared end of partial mobilization, the state decided start to correcting the mistakes of the “first wave”. The irrelevance of military registration documents is what the authorities referred to when explaining the “mistakes” of the district military registration and enlistment offices. The Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Defense, by April 1, 2024, undertake to create a single information resource that will contain data about everyone who is or should be registered with the military. And by December 30 of this year, government agencies must digitize the available data from military commissariats.

So what information will be compiled into one database?
• – telephone and email numbers from State Services;
• information about place of residence, criminal record, driver’s license and even sports ranks;
• information about the citizen’s employer;
• presence of disability, HIV, registration in ND and IPA;
• studying at a university or college, marital status;
• availability of a deferment from mobilization;
• availability of vehicles, real estate.

At the same time, the Government has yet to determine which government agencies will maintain the new register and how. Also, the procedure for citizens to gain access to this database and the procedure for appealing against incorrect information have not yet been determined.

What to expect?
– it is logical to assume that it is the data from the Federal Tax Service and State Services, as the most technologically advanced government services, that will become the foundation for the formation of a new register;
– after this, information about changes will be received automatically through the interdepartmental communication system;
– As the register fills up, it will become logical to allow subpoenas to be sent via email or text messages, which will require amendments to the laws.
