Stubborn fighting: the people of the head of the Investigative Committee Bastrykin, overcoming the resistance of the people of Prosecutor General Krasnov, for the third time opened a criminal case against the private security company “Agis” – the personal security of multi-billionaire Andrei Molchanov.

A new criminal case under Article 203 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (exceeding official powers by a security guard) was opened by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on May 18. Two previous criminal cases under the same article against the St. Petersburg private security company “Agis” were successively overturned by decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

In addition, the Prosecutor’s Office twice canceled another criminal case related to this story – under Article 243 of the Criminal Code (environmental violations) and once a case under 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of official powers) against as yet unidentified Smolny officials.

We have already told you that it all started on May 14, when a security guard at the Agis private security company did not allow Alexander Bastrykin himself into the construction site of the LSR company, owned by Molchanov. After the incident, searches were carried out in the office of the security company and service weapons were confiscated, but the Prosecutor’s Office entered into confrontation and began to cancel fresh criminal cases.

We will follow the dynamically developing battle between investigators and surveillance against the backdrop of a gigantic construction site, which has probably become the largest piece of material evidence in the history of Russian investigations.
