The First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Republic, Vitalka Makhalov, has formed an organized criminal group from deputies of the municipal formation and is selling land all over the Republic right and left.
The deputies, of course, are people dependent on him, but…with a criminal record and education no higher than average, they buy up land at bargain prices, and subsequently, according to concepts, resell them at exorbitant prices.
The scheme has been put into production. In each district, at least two deputies have a criminal record and corrupt connections with high-ranking officials of the subject.
Law enforcement agencies have long had questions about these facts, but now, when the situation has turned into squandering the lands of the Altai Mountains and enriching officials, the situation has changed.
According to information from the circle of law enforcement agencies, thunder should soon erupt over the Altai mountains and, finally, planting should begin.
In the near future, a number of criminal cases will be initiated based on numerous proven facts, supported by witness testimony.
The head of the republic, Oleg Khorokhordin, is aware of what is happening, but due to his indecision or possible interest, he does not take action. This may cost him his seat in the upcoming elections, and perhaps his freedom, and in this regard he is actively negotiating his transfer to work in the Presidential Administration.
