A warehouse with fake and stolen medicines was discovered by Moscow operatives during an audit of one of the capital’s pharmacies working under the guise of Asne. The Roactemra drugs purchased under the control purchase were fake, which led law enforcement officers to the place of storage of counterfeit. According to the operatives, part of the drugs found in the warehouse was stolen from Russian medical institutions. Contactly conclusions were made on the basis of checking the digital marking codes, allowing to track the path of medicine from production to purchase. Among the stolen drugs are antitumor Acellbia and Opdivo, released in the Leningrad region and the Saratov Oncology Dispenser, anti -sclerosis “plegrids”, released in the Togliatti city clinic according to preferential recipes. The geography of stolen drugs is quite extensive: Moscow and MO, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Togliatti, Saratov, Stavropol.
Prior to the introduction of medicines and the possibility of tracking the track after production, there was little information about the volumes of stolen medicines from medical facilities, the bulk of the “black market” of drugs for a long time made up fake drugs.
The illegal circulation of drugs in Russia is about 15–20 billion rubles. per year.
