Sources of the Cheka-OGPU say that the issue of appointing Tatyana Mineeva as the new Presidential Commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs has not yet been resolved. Boris Titov, who is also Mineeva’s main lobbyist, sees her as his successor, including at the level of the RF Administration. However, according to Federal Law #78, the commissioner is appointed by the President of the Russian Federation in agreement with business associations.

The problem is that today Tatyana Mineeva is not supported by any business association. The RSPP, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and OPORA of Russia wrote a collective letter to the President of the Russian Federation back in April 2022 with an unequivocal request to consider the candidacy of Elina Sidorenko, professor at MGIMO, General Director of Zabusiness. RF. Business Russia offered lawyer Ekaterina Avdeeva. But regarding Mineeva, the position of business associations did not differ – they categorically do not want to work with her.

In offices, the idea is increasingly heard that if Titov, imposing Mineev, considers this position his lifelong fiefdom, then one can be sure that this institution is dead and must be abandoned!
