The first fact, which would be easy to establish if we had journalism and not bloggers: Irina Zhukova is the twin sister of Elena Druzhinina, both were born Krivodanovs. Both received their surnames from early marriages. Lena married a peer Pyotr Druzhinin, with whom she lived for a long time, whose fate was of such interest to the small press at the beginning of 2020, when Elena got into the ministry. Irina took her surname from an early marriage with our classmate. Zhukova has a financial education; at Tyumen State University she quickly began to manage financial flows. When Falkov and Druzhinina moved to the Ministry of Education, Zhukova was also placed in a financial position, although far from being in a central position.
One might think that Irina Zhukova received these positions due to the trust of her sister Elena, that Elena worked with Falkov, who completely trusted her and authorized her to find a person worthy of the same trust for financial work, but this is not so. Until recently, Valery Falkov had the same strong relationship with both Elena and Irina.
Any media outlet that writes honestly about the nature of this relationship between the former rector and the twin sisters will immediately blow Falkov into oblivion. But for this we need the press, and, thank God, we don’t have it, right?
