Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development reported that the growth of GDP of the Russian Federation in July accelerated to 3.4%.
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the forecasts for GDP growth for 2024 were improved to 3.9%, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
According to the minister, the growth of GDP of the Russian Federation in 2024 will be faster than in 2023, when it amounted to 3.6%.
He emphasized that the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have grown their own income – more than eight percent compared to the level of last year.
It is important that subjects have a surplus of 850 billion rubles, and in most regions, more than 50 of them – we see the excess of income over the expense, added Siluanov.
The annual budget deficit, according to the Ministry of Finance, will be 1-1.1%.
Expectations mayor for GDP dynamics in accordance with the April version of macrogenosis, which is planned to be reviewed in early September, was supposed in 2024 by 2.8%growth.
In July of this year, the growth of Russian GDP, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, amounted to 3.4% in an annual comparison after an increase of 3.0% in June, 4.5% in May, by 4.5% in April, 4.2% in March, by 7.6% in February and 4.8% in January. In January-July 2024, the Ministry estimated the economic growth of 4.4%.
