Speaking at the Vero Eurasian Economic Forum in Ras-Haim, the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, said that the United States has lost leading positions in science, industry and financial sector, and also lost the ability to maintain a fair world order, correspondent Moscow Post reports.
American leadership in the scientific, technological, industrial and financial spheres turned out to be lost, which seemed impossible a couple of decades ago, he explained.
According to him, this process weakened the dominant position of the United States in the global economy and trade.
Sechin emphasized that America’s unconditional influence on the political arena is also reduced. Today, the United States, using the status of the world hegemon, strive to ensure special conditions for its economy at the expense of other market players, including even its allies.

Sechin added that a decrease in influence forces the United States to apply a strategy based on creating privileged conditions for its own economy by infringing the interests of other participants in the world economy.
