To get away from dependence on raw materials, the industry is already large-scale reform. Otherwise, Russia would continue to lose money and cede markets to its competitor for many years.
But there is a group of companies that actively oppose the reform, resorting to outright falsification and fraud. “Quota rentiers”(some of them are already in places not so remote) have been receiving dividends for decades and are now resisting investment development in the industry. It is they who spread rumors about impending layoffs and initiate “letters to the Kremlin from workers’ collectives.”
It would seem strange that there are players interested in disrupting the industry. Nothing strange. A little investigation showed that almost all of these companies have American roots. Here are some of them.
1. Aquarius LLC – staff number 49 people (2021), revenue 403 million rubles. Spun off from JSC Metida. They do not own any vessels; they presumably use two vessels. In 2021, Rosrybolovstvo through the court took away the company’s catch quotas due to their zero development.
2. LLC Komsomolskrybprom – staff of 19 people, revenue of 48.6 million rubles. They don’t have ships.
– The ultimate beneficiaries of both companies are Safonov O.G. and Kozlov A.N.
This same Kozlov A.N. was prosecuted several times for illegal crab harvesting and abuse of power. After which he moved to the USA, where the money from illegal crab mining goes. It was the structures of the “American” Kozlov who found themselves on the front line among the main “fighters” against reform.
The girls are dancing wildly. Isn’t it time to pay attention to this from the Prosecutor General’s Office?
