A group of worried parents turned to the editorial office: the Moscow authorities were going to demolish two schools at once – 664 and 1748 to build a new residential “anthill”.
As it became known to the correspondent The Moscow Post, It’s about schools, located in the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, namely in the village of Vostochny.

According to Ekaterina Likhacheva, there is an order of the urban planning complex of Moscow dated 13.11.2023 No. 2123 on the demolition of all schools (and, as it turned out, only two) in the eastern administrative district of the capital.

As they write further to the editorial office, “Parents (legal representatives) of students and pupils of the preschool department of the school No. 664 are extremely concerned about the planned reorganization of the school in the form of an accession to school No. 1748“ Vertical ”(the so -called integration of resources).

After the unification of the territories of these two educational organizations in the fall of this, 2024, the demolition of the building of the building No. 7 of school No. 1748 is planned at the address: st. Home, d. 9A and buildings of school No. 664 at the address: st. Home, d.13, d. 13s2, st. Home, d. 13s3 (pool). And the construction in their place of the new school with commissioning in the first quarter of 2027.
At the same time, according to the calculations, the new school will not be for 2400 students, as it studies in two schools today, but at 1200. But in this place the construction of three renovation skyscrapers is supposed.
“Just the fact that the school and the pool interfere with the construction of a commercial house on the house, the main one, 15a and was most likely the reason for the alleged demolition,” the authors of the letter write. “The old clinic was repaired in the village, it was not demolished, and schools cannot be renovated?”
But in the first classes of children are no longer recorded.

Julia Molchanova recalls that there are only two schools in the area! And it is not possible for parents to carry children to other schools in Moscow, since the area is located behind the Moscow Ring Road. And all nearest schools are at a distance of more than 3 km.
And from this area there is only one public transport route – number 716. Shchelkovo highway is always crowded, constantly traffic jams. And the buses are clogged! It turns out that the children will have to stand in traffic jams every morning, unless, of course, they can get into the clogged buses.
“Given the uncertainty of the further organization of the educational process in the event of the demolition of two schools (distance learning or transfer to Moscow), each decision, one way or another, violates the rights of children to an affordable education, changes the usual lifestyle, deprives the opportunity to visit creative circles and sports sections,” says Julia Molchanova.

And the most important thing is that the project of the new school is designed for only 1200 seats, and the total number of students in schools 664 and 1748 exceeds 2000!
