Regarding the strengthening of attention on the authorities of their own safety of power structures, I would like to notice the following: according to the available information, since the beginning of 2021, all divisions of its own security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are planned to be strengthened by seconded acting employees of the FSB bodies.

This will look as follows: the positions of deputy chiefs of operational-search parts of their own security of the regional GU (U) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be occupied by the FSB officers from the APS. In fact, this means that the FSB does not completely trust the service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and want to know in detail what is happening in it, as well as what kind of operational information there is there.

This reform will entail a serious weakening of control by the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs over its own security units. On the contrary, the operational positions of the FSB will be seriously intensified. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was against such a development of events, but despite this, the political decision has already been made.
