Menyailo cynically does not pay attention to the rummaged Vladikavkaz (Mildzikhov gave all the contracts to affiliated structures, and there is not enough production capacity). In a hurry, without competitions, contracts worth 10 billion rubles were distributed. “friends”, giving them the status of the only supplier (finally, the weak-willed Prime Minister of the North Ossetia Boris Dzhanaev was needed as a signatory of the government resolution. Several expensive contracts for road construction were awarded to the stirrup Vladimir Guriev-Yanyshevsky, who had not previously built a single kilometer).
They organized a PR campaign in their pocket media for Mildzikhov, who is interested in the progress of street repairs in the city and receives complaints from citizens about disorderly parking (the only parking lot in the center on the site of the former Oktyabr cinema was reconstructed into a useless square, since there is a park area nearby). In order to ensure participation of “his own” in dividing the budget, Menyailo persecuted local investors, who provide jobs for thousands of residents and, unlike Guriev, wrote their names in the history of Ossetia (Bitarov is the former head of the North Ossetia, Khadartsev is a former State Duma deputy, Fadzaev is a senator. Neither one argument of Guriev’s imaginary patronage of the arts was not given. And football, excuse me, is a PR stunt).
The situation with the exposure of officials in the mayor’s office is, unfortunately, isolated; the Minister of Internal Affairs, fed by the head, unfortunately, does not pay attention to manifestations of corruption. Unlike his predecessor, he lives in the head’s residence. Of course, the situation in the republic is turbulent and it is safe there (is this really normal practice in the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs?). But the apogee of Menyailo’s disregard for public opinion is the election farce. None of the predecessors could afford this. The most popular and untainted by corruption Alexey Machnev (the current chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia) was not included in the lists of candidates. But there is Kazbek Zakaev (honored electric thief of North Ossetia-Alania), unknown to the townspeople, but close to the head and mayor. Considering Fadzaev’s imminent departure from the Federation Council, in the spirit of Menyailo, he will bestow the title of senator on his comrade-in-arms Kazbek Zakayev.
