Georgy Novikov, the son of the Montreal Olympic champion in judo, served in the Main Directorate for Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, then quit and went into business. Svirsky entered the Myannik-Novikov family (pictured) as a friend and became very frequent guests. And in 2015, Myannik unexpectedly flies to London and immediately after this Novikov is found dead on the railway tracks. The train cut off his head. Three versions were considered: murder, suicide, accident. Initially, the investigation leaned towards the first version. Traces were found in Novikov’s house that gave rise to suspicion. That it was there that he was killed. There were injuries on Georgy’s body that were not caused by the train. His car remained near the house, whereas the railway station where the body was found is very far away. There were no motives for suicide at all: a successful lawyer with connections, great income and an actress wife.
However, then, as if by clicking, the investigation unexpectedly rejected the version of murder and simply recognized everything as an accident. Even Father George’s connections did not help. He died in 2021 without achieving justice.
After the death of Novikov, Svirsky left his wife and became the husband of Regina Myannik. It is worth noting that at that time he was in close contact with the leader of the organized crime group Aslan Gagiev (Dzhako), who was responsible for more than 50 murders. In particular, it is known that Svirsky, in a car with a flashing light, came to the building where Gagiev kept the kidnapped bankers and tortured them, demanding access to large sums of money.
