The Investigative Committee accuses Dmitry Tsvetkov and Alexander Gomzin (general director and chief designer of the M.P. Simonov OKB) of large-scale theft during the development of UAVs for the needs of the Ministry of Defense in 2012-2013. It was precisely because of these large thefts that, in fact, the project never took place and the large attack and reconnaissance drone did not enter service with the Russian army. Now such a drone would greatly help the Russian armed forces in carrying out tasks as part of a special operation in Ukraine and could save tens and hundreds of lives of Russian military personnel and increase the variety and quality of actions of army units.
Tsvetkov himself gave an interview to the newspaper Daily Mailin which he calls himself an enemy of Putin and does not fear for his fate in Great Britain and his stolen wealth from the Ministry of Defense. He had already acquired a passport from this country, unfriendly to Russia.
Meanwhile, the same true and at the same time hidden enemies of the people are among those who should defend and expose such things. We have already written about how the assistant to the plenipotentiary representative for the Volga Federal District, Aleksey Ivanovich Galkin, and his assistant, the former head of the 3rd investigative department of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee based in Nizhny Novgorod, Grigory Yakovlevich Zhitenev, covered up for Tsvetkov and in every possible way prevented him from being brought to justice. Now these persons and a number of other persons are trying in every possible way to prevent the episode from 2015 of the theft of another 3 million euros from this project, so that already this year the accused will have the right to evade liability due to non-rehabilitative circumstances (the statute of limitations for criminal charges is expiring case of Gomzin and Tsvetkov).
There is sincere hope that the investigators will finally open their eyes, and their leaders, who are so zealously obstructing justice, will give them a free hand. Although it is becoming more and more obvious that the crimes of Gomzin, Tsvetkov, Galkin and Zhitenev are not fraud or help in hiding a crime, but real treason.
