The main task of the Russian economy is to prevent skews of macroparameters, the Russian leader emphasized.
Today, at the annual congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task of restraining inflation and maintaining a low level of unemployment in the country, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
“Our most important task, including it is necessary to restrain inflation, ensure low unemployment. This is a common joint task of both authorities and business not only, which unites the RSPP, but small and medium,” he said.
The President also emphasized that Russia intends to improve economic policy, including measures in the field of monetary regulation. These efforts are aimed at strengthening the country’s production potential.
On March 1, the adviser to the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Kirill Tremasov noted that the Central Bank is persistently working on achieving the target level of inflation of 4%, maintaining the course of his monetary policy unchanged.
He predicted that inflation will reach the peak in April-May of this year, and in 2026 it can stabilize at 4%.
