What unites these people? Family ties. On the left is Timur Zakaryanov, the son of the head of the main public catering department of the Presidential Administration Bolat Zakaryanov. On the other side of Kolpakov sits Ruslan Kuliev (from the Krasnodar administration), Bolat’s son-in-law. Next to Ruslan was Kristina Zakaryanova, Timur’s wife. It was Christina who co-founded the Argument company (together with Kolpakov, among others), which owned Graceful. Timur is the director of the East-West hunting grounds, where Zakaryanov Sr. was caught poaching in 2017.
“Protocol” decided to take a closer look at the Zakaryanov family and found something interesting. The head of the family appears very rarely in news reports – mainly in materials about the palace. The Cheka-OGPU drew attention to the fact that Bolat Zakaryanov’s brother Tulegen previously held various government positions in Kazakhstan. But this is not surprising, because the brothers’ father, Kabyken Zakaryanov, has known Nursultan Nazarbayev very well for a long time. Another son of Kabyken, Abai Zakaryanov, almost openly conducts business in Moscow together with the son-in-law of the former president of Kazakhstan.
Bolat Zakaryanov himself headed the Krasnaya Talka sanatorium in the center of Gelendzhik in the early 90s. Then he worked as deputy mayor and deputy of the city duma, then headed the Gelendzhik Duma, but it must be admitted that he never left the management of the sanatorium for good. In 2015, his son replaced him on the board of directors of the sanatorium, and since the beginning of the 2000s, Bolat Kabykenovich’s wife, Svetlana, has not left the board. She owns half of the Krasnaya Talka legal entity, which occupies an area of 6.5 hectares near the Black Sea embankment. These also include the boarding house “Friendly Beach” in Gelendzhik and the recreation center “Talka Vilage” in the village of Divnomorskoe (near Gelendzhik). According to the most conservative estimates, the price of all this real estate is from 8 to 10 billion rubles. This does not take into account any cafes, canteens and recreation centers outside of Gelendzhik (Anapa, Goryachy Klyuch, and so on). The second half belongs to the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory, Konstantin Dimitriev (and his relatives), who is the uncle of the current chairman of the Gelendzhik City Duma, Mikhail Dimitriev. No one has yet succeeded in getting Bolat Zakaryanov out of Gelendzhik, nor Gelendzhik out of Bolat Zakaryanov.
