President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the decree “On the Protection of Sovereignty and Constitutional Location”, which provides for the transfer of power to the Security Council of the republic in the event of the death of the President, the press service of the head of the republic said.

Lukashenko announced the adoption of this decree on April 17, on the same day, when he announced the preparation of the attempt on him and his children.
