At the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Republic of Poland extradite to Russia to prosecute a citizen of the Russian Federation Oleg Pirogov. According to investigators, in 2006, several people fought for the distribution of criminal spheres of influence in the Moscow Region, among whom were Oleg Pirogov, nicknamed Circus and Yuri Lokhmatov.
At the end of 2006, Pirogov decided to kill Lokhmatov, who had weight in the criminal environment of Elektrostal, and turned to one of the leaders of the criminal-depressed environment of Sergiev Posad Viktor Lazovsky. On December 13, 2006, a killer in the ward of the Elektrostal Hospital killed Lokhmatov with a shot in the head. 
According to law enforcement officers, on May 12, 2011, Pirogov in the premises of the Karetny Dvor restaurant in Moscow received a higher position in the criminal hierarchy and until 2019 took part in the section of the spheres of influence in the Moscow Region.
In November 2019, the Grandmother’s court of Moscow in absentia chose him a measure of restraint in the form of detention. In December of that year, he was put on an international wanted list. In July 2020, he was detained in Poland, the decision on extradition was made in Polish courts, and then the Ministry of Justice of Poland.
