Until the New Year, Wagner PMCs were gaining mercenaries even without experience, and since January 2025, only those who have already concluded a contract with the company.
The Wagner PMC has recently been headed by the former GRU special forces Dmitry Podolsky with the call sign “Salem”. He replaced another scandaling commander Anton Elizarov, who wore the call sign “Lotus”.
Most recently, on May 1, Salem, holding the official post of adviser to the President of the TsA, played in the Russian house in Banga (the capital of the Central African Republic) in honor of the 11th anniversary of the Wagner PMC with an appeal to honor the founders of the company Evgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin. 
However, according to the interlocutor of the Cheka-OGPU, in the near future the Wagner PMC will be forced to completely transfer the farm and leave the African continent. The mercenaries in words promise to bases in Belarus, but so far there is no evidence of this.
