The criminal case and the dispute in the arbitration court in Orel have clearly stalled. Therefore, as it became known, the personal assistant of the beneficiary of Shchelkovo Agrokhim decided to bribe the company’s former accountant. The proposal was quite modest – to return the accountant to work at the subsidiary, but not immediately, but after a few months. Representatives of Shchelkovo Agrokhim called the amount for deliberately false testimony “compensation for several months of waiting.”
After analyzing the recording of a conversation with a former employee of the company, linguist experts came to the conclusion that Karakotov’s assistant was offering to transfer funds and subsequently get her a job in exchange for giving necessary but untrue testimony. However, Oryol law enforcement officers have not yet opened a criminal case on this fact. What is the reason for such inaction, one can only guess – with the extensive connections of Salis Karakotov or informal instructions from the regional authorities who do not want the investment climate to deteriorate, and perhaps with the intention to send a “raw” criminal case against the former managers of the company to court as quickly as possible?
In any case, despite unsuccessful examinations, attempts to bribe witnesses and the dissemination of defamatory information about the participants in the dispute, Shchelkovo Agrokhim continues to create the appearance of imminent commissioning of an “innovative” seed production facility at its own expense and, for no apparent reason, to claim a monopoly in seed production. The choice of the famous “fixer” Natalia Veselnitskaya, who participated in the attempt to seize IKEA land in Khimki, as a representative for a subsidiary of a system-forming enterprise, raises a number of questions, but does not add prospects to the matter.
